We are a friendly and relaxed art group who, on three weeks out of four, meet at Bourne Hall on Wednesday evenings, 7.30-9.30pm for a mixture of high quality demonstrations, lectures, life drawing and workshops.

Monthly challenge
The winner of March’s challenge is Dave Tribe with his painting Rural decline. Peter Rossington & Barbara Stevens are in 2nd place, and Jean Thompson is in 3rd place. Many congratulations to all. The names of the artists are now revealed on March’s monthly challenge page.
Copyright rules for the challenge and for our exhibitions (click to read)
- Please be careful not to breach copyright rules when using other people’s photographs.
- For our competitions (and our exhibitions) present your own work, not copies of other artist’s work.
Basing a painting closely on a photographic image is acceptable assuming point 1 above is satisfied. Copying another artist’s style is acceptable, but copying a whole painting is not.
