Winter exhibition at Denbies

Following the success of our Autumn exhibition, we are planning to hold another exhibition at Denbies from Monday 23rd to Sunday 29th November – we hope to see you there.

Monthly challenge

Our challenge for September was Holiday, and we have two winners – Gillian Hein with her watercolour On the beach 2, and Barbara Stevens with her oil painting Sandcastles.  In 2nd place was Liz Hammond (Staycation), and Peter Rossington came 3rd (A day out, a holiday!). Many congratulations to all. The names of the artists are now revealed on September’s monthly challenge page.

October’s subject is The Market, and the deadline for entries is Saturday 31 October.

Please email a jpg of your entry to Barbara Stevens (subject Monthly challenge) and let her know the title of your picture and the medium. Please follow the guidelines for creating a .jpg on the Resources page.  Barbara is happy to resize/rename files if anyone has any problems.

Painting assessments

We are still continuing with painting assessments online.  Visit the Painting critique page for full details.

We are a friendly Art group based in Epsom & Ewell, Surrey and we meet at Bourne Hall, Ewell Village on most Wednesday evenings.  Please look at the Programme page for details of our meetings.

Guests are welcome at £5 per session.  If you would like to join the group or find out more about our activities, please go to the Contact us page.
