I started painting a couple of years after I retired. The idea was to give me something to do and to meet people.
I was advised to start with Acrylics but I found that they dried far too fast so I changed to oils.
For subjects, I like animals and portraits, but to stretch myself I’m now working on a large landscape which is taking ages but I’ll get there.
