John Lucking

Most of my pictures are representational rather than abstract, but my drawings
and paintings are more about pattern and colour than realistic representation. I
spend much more time thinking of ideas and planning a new picture than I
spend producing it. My preferred medium is pen and ink.

I have always liked to draw, and this was a useful skill in my career as a
structural engineer. Now I have time, I am exploring new subjects and ideas.
