I started painting in 2006 and although I work mainly in watercolours, I also experiment with mixed media and acrylic inks. I enjoy painting landscapes and my approach is to create my own loose interpretations of the landscape / nature by trying to evoke mood and atmosphere in a more imaginative and abstract way.
I am a member of the Epsom & Ewell Art Group and have successfully exhibited in Surrey at Denbies, Bourne Hall and Whitehall Historic House. I am also a Friend of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours.
