Born in Sri Lanka- schooled in Kolkata India and the UK- attended Central school of Art London – now Central St Martins- Later joined and worked for Film Director Ken Russell on TV and Film- Worked for many years for various directors – First 2 exhibitions were in April 2017 at the Over- Seas League- Green Park – London and the Indian High Commission Mayfair in London at the Nehru Centre Nov 2017- The High Commission supports artists of every kind who are and were connected to India – Penny’s work is inspired by the colours and India’s amazing light. Penny is a member of Carshalton Artists and also displays her art at the 2025 CAOS Art Festival.
